“Let’s make digital grow at the service of human beings”

by Aline AUBERTIN, Dean & General Manager, Isep

Welcome to Isep, the humanware school of digital engineering!

At Isep, we’re convinced that digital technology must be a lever for human progress. That’s why, in addition to hardware and software technologies, we add the essential human dimension: humanware. By training committed engineers capable of inventing and implementing responsible technologies, we are contributing to a sustainable future for society.

Our pedagogy is build on a solid foundation of scientific and technological knowledge, enriched by humanities. We place particular emphasis on project-based learning and professional situations. We support our students in building their career paths, preparing them to meet the major technological, environmental, economic and ethical challenges of our time.

With over thirty years’ experience in industry as an engineer, I’ve learned that diversity of profiles and experience is an essential source of creativity and performance. That’s why, at Isep, we value diversity and inclusion, welcoming students from all cultures, respecting their individuality and supporting them throughout their career.

For 70 years, Isep has been training generations of engineers who are shaping the digital world. With more than 10,000 alumni, our school, with its rich history, is resolutely focused on the future. As an Établissement d’Enseignement Supérieur Privé d’Intérêt Général (EESPIG), Isep remains true to its non-profit commitment, investing in research and new teaching methods to offer training of excellence.

Today, our mission is clearer than ever: to grow an ethical, responsible digital workforce that serves the common good, in keeping with our values – Listening, Excellence and Commitment. This is the spirit in which we train tomorrow’s Game Changers.

More about our Values

70 Years of History

Isep was created by the Institut Catholique de Paris in 1955, where Edouard BRANLY, then Professor of Physics, discovered the radioconductors at the origin of wireless transmission (T.S.F.).

From the outset, Isep’s pedagogical project has been centered on high-level scientific and technical training, with a strong emphasis on the human aspect, essential for future managers.

Today, Isep has adapted to offer a training program of excellence that covers all the latest digital domains (electronics, networks and telecoms, IT, date and AI, security and energy optimization) and always advocates reflective science.
