Innovating for inclusive and benevolent technology
The Digital and Vulnerabilities Consortium (CNV) brings together committed players including Isep, Institut Catholique de Paris (ICP), INSEI, Les Papillons Blancs de la Colline, Unapei, Cités Caritas, Fondation Autonomia and Les Diaconesses de Reuilly. Together, they are working to design technological devices that improve the daily lives of people with cognitive disorders. Through a participative and innovative approach, CNV places people at the heart of technology to meet the needs of the most vulnerable.
Mission and Vision of the Consortium
The CNV’s mission is to create digital solutions that promote the autonomy and well-being of people in vulnerable situations. Committed to an ethical and benevolent approach, the Consortium adopts a participative action-research approach, involving beneficiaries and their carers at every stage of development. This approach enables us to co-design solutions that are truly adapted to and respect the specific needs of users, integrating them not simply as beneficiaries, but as genuine partners.
Consortium activities
CNV’s initiatives revolve around several key areas:
- Participative co-design: Engineers, researchers and caregivers work directly with the people concerned to ensure that each solution meets their precise needs.
- Inclusive technological development: Creation of devices that combine technological performance and accessibility, ensuring that each innovation serves the well-being and autonomy of users.
- Action research: Implementation of research projects that actively involve users, guaranteeing a contributive and ethical approach.
- Training and awareness-raising: Training and awareness-raising initiatives for partners and society at large, to promote a benevolent and inclusive approach to technology.
